AMB - Still Alive Loved

Before I was a mommy, I never learned the words to a lullaby. I never thought about immunizations. Before I was a mommy, I had never been puked on. Pooped on. Drooled on. Chewed on. Peed on. I had completely control of my mind and my thoughts. I slept all night. I never looked into teary eyes and cried. I never got gloriously happy over a simple little grin. I never sat up for hours watching a baby sleep. I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. I never knew that I could love someone so much unconditionally. I never knew I would love being a mommy. Before I was a mommy, I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy. I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a mommy. I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much before I was a mommy. And I absolutely LOVE every second of it. ♥

I forgot where I found that. I know a friend from work has it on her Facebook, but I've definitely seen it elsewhere. I had it in wordpad for a long time, before I even had my laptop and stuff... but yeah, it totally made me cry when I read it the very first time.. I'm such a sap!

Twiztid - Mutant X Happy ^_^

So.. good afternoon guys ^_^ I updated Phoenix Shadow on Tuesday, and when I went to archive my past entries, it got all messed up so I just deleted my the entries that I wanted to send to archiving in the first place. SUCKAGE, because I had like 20 entries to archive and save. Never letting that happen again! x__x Ugh... but anyways, I figured I would start off this entry by starting from now on (whenever I get the chance, to anyway, or if I don't forget ) I'll be starting off blog entries with some sort of topic :happy: For instance, you'll see the topic I chose for today if you don't become excessively bored all of a sudden and continue to read

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia The guys at work got me into this show, I swear, I can never
thank them ENOUGH for my infatuation with this show... and for Charlie. (I know, I know... I'm indeed
pathetic, and yes, I did just go there!). He's seriously like, my imaginary boyfriend... on T.V.... who would never know I existed seeing how he's a celeb, and I'm well, me u__u. /clears throat. ANYWAY - this show is pretty much unstoppable, hence the reason it's taken up the #1 spot on my *ahem* imaginary chart. /points to the wall as if there's a chart there. Which there isn't. (hey... ADD much?! O_o). This show, hands down, is the most hilarious show I've ever seen.

Ghost Hunters If you love the paranormal as much as I do, then check this show out - it's all real and right in front of your eyes are these incredible people - Jason, Grant, Steve G, Steve T, Kris & Amy - THE most epic ghost hunting team on the planet, otherwise known as TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) established in Rhode Island I'll admit it, if the episode gets real creepy, I'll even turn on a light (or two... or three D:) just because I get so into it, the world around me becomes a blur, pretty much. All in all - this show amazes me. These guys are friggen awesome, and you should definitely check out the show, as well as their site. Note: Not for you skeptics ;)


Two & 1/2 Men This has got to be THE most hilarious show on prime time T.V. and the best part about it? They show it twice in a row - a full hour of "men men men" as my daughter calls it. (I know, she's too young to watch it, but she does hear the music and the theme to the show, hence the reason she screams, "MEN'S ON! MEN MEN MENNNN!" when it comes on at 7 ) I didn't think I'd ever be able to actually pick a "favorite character" from the show, but I did, after much debate - Allen Harper. He's so freakin funny, I believe he did win an award on the movie awards (I have no idea what that thing is called... the Grammy's? something like that, LOL) but yeah... THE ONLY THING THAT BUGS ME ABOUT HIM: his chest. T__T. Weird thing to say? TAKE A PEEK AT IT. It's just... it's gotta be the nipples.


Metalocalypse DOODILY DING DONG TICK TOCK! If I could be any character from this show, I would definitely claim Toki Wartooth, I don't care what any of you guys think/say/scream/yell/cry/emo wah wah about - he's mine, dammit. That is all.


Grey's Anatomy alright, so I admit that I am a girly girl sometimes and I park my butt right down to gawk at McDreamy ♥ ...who can resist such a hunk Although the show makes me seem like the world's biggest bi-polar out there with the laughing my ass off one minute to the next minute I'm bawling my eyes out like a school girl, it's still an amazing show that I recommend to absolutely everyone. Seriously. Get into it!

Okayyy... so I'm adding some more new stuff as always. As bloggers and domain owners, we all know that our websites will technically never be officially complete I guess that's the fun and joy in this whole web site deal - because otherwise (obviously!) if there was no more "work" to be done, we'd all be bored to death and want to shut down our sites

Killswitch Engage - World Ablaze Hmm... not sure? xD

So I worked for uhh... only 4 hours today, and now I have the remainder of the week off until Friday... then on Saturday and Sunday I have off, again. Which is sahh-weet! in my books

I'm absolutely considering stopping all blogs here on Phoenix Shadow and moving them to a Live Journal like I've said before in the past. It just sounds like a good idea, considering I honestly don't feel like going through all the trouble and headaches of making password protected entries. I know people think it's easy... but honestly!!!! Ahhhg ~ I forgot what I was just going to type. Idiot.

ANYWAY MOVING ON!

I'm thinking of doing an affie sweep - or clean out. Whatever you'd like to call it. I thought "sweep" sounded good Sillyness. I'll let everyone know though - I probably won't end up doing it in the first place and just keeping pretty much everybody anyway. So I have no idea why I mentioned this at all - to take up blogging space?

DJ Squiggles - A New Dawn Busyy @_@

Fresh start-over sort of deal, here :happy: I changed the layout... again, because I can see what Precious means, it was a bit too big, even on my screen. I actually just whipped that theme up in like 5 minutes and didn't even bother worrying about the size of the header, etc. So I'm sorry if you're disappointed about the whole anti-huge ass header . Fear not - there will be another Jasper and Alice layout to come in the future!

It's sooo cold outside! I can't stand it... my kind of weather is definitely the whole 60 - 70 degrees with a breeze weather (haha, I rhymed...ahh... not funny @@;;) It was seriously 70 on Halloween though, which was VERY nice! Speaking of... how was everyone's Halloween? (If you celebrate it, anyway ) and if you don't celebrate it, how was your day/night anyway?

I did my eye shadow all prettyful on Halloween Night, by the way - it came out adorable. Here's a pic of what it looked like - don't mind my eyebrows!
