So I had a decent New Years the other day... how was everyone else's? I just stayed home and chilled with my aunt, uncle and Sara, we had dinner and watched movies and what not. Now that it's 2009, it really doesn't even feel like a new year, just another year in the life of Trypp... my year of 2008 wasn't all that lovely either... except of course, for living through the toughest events of my entire existence... and the fact that Brian asked me out /heart flutters at least there's two huge pluses right there

I'll make a list of major highlights, good, bad, & the ugly xD
Survived an abusive ex-relationship which I am now protected and so is my daughter. I did some stupid things in my life, I'll admit and this was one of them, living with a guy that beat the crap out of me.
Moving in with my family in March '08 My daughter and I are still living with them.
My best friend asked me out in May! I love you baby <33
I got accepted into a community college in September I freaking LOVE it!
I got my license in October, finally. Although I haven't really driven since then.
After years of no inspiration for art/writing, I'm back on the ball. I got back into reading because of Twilight and I'm now into Antro Art!
Christmas came too early, I think. It was great though, I got to see almost my entire family, I didn't make it to my dad's though... I was already indulged in other plans. That's alright, I guess.

I do believe those are all I can think of, though it was a sad year for me, I tried not to dwell on that, I went through loads of counseling... twice in a row and at the same time. I went from rock bottom to soaring through my summer ~ as free as a bird with a beautiful daughter and an amazing boyfriend. I began reading again, I'm about 200 pages away from the end of Breaking Dawn already, and I just got the books all for Christmas! ^_^ I'm definitely on a roll ~

I also joined Twitter and a couple of blog directories today. So now that I'm being demanded I look at Bri's myspace pix...which I'll gladly do anyways xD... I'm going to do that and update my gaia and neopets... seeing how my fish are dead and my pets are on their way out.

Super Massive Black Hole - Muse 7:03 PM Bored?

So I had an awesome Christmas... how was everyone else's? Good, I hope I got to spend lots of time with my family, we had a few get togethers... one at my grandma and grandfather's house, one at my aunt and uncle's house and the last at my mom's house with my brothers. I'll be uploading pictures to my Myspace and Face Book, if you want to take a peek, since Sara will be on them, too. And we all know how I am when it comes to publicly displaying my daughter on Phoenix Shadow. Right. Anyways...

Kandie-Kid.net's Closing. I closed it this past weekend. So sick of the dramatic children who visit and flame my site... and so sick of just updating it to begin with. It's been real... but I had enough of feeling as if updating that site was more of a chore than anything else. It's too bad... really. I LOVED Kandie Kid, it was my first domain... Ali had bought it for me when we both wanted to move onto domains, and she had purchased Star Gloss for herself.... but it's definitely time for a change, and you know somethings up when you feel like your own domain is a chore than a hobby. Sad, but true. I really actually hate to see it go, but it's made an impact. I've made an impact, imagine that? Haha. Good times shall not be forgotten. I doubt it will get that way with Phoenix Shadow though, but who knows what the future holds.

Phoenix Shadow's Affiliates. Needs-a-cleanin', to be BRUTALLY honest. I know, I haven't kept in contact much with A LOT of you... but to be honest, neither have some of you guys either. I don't even beg and tell people that you have to comment daily, etc, but it's not even that anymore... it's actually the fact that I've been getting emails... complaints and comments on my blog posts that I never post back. I honestly don't want to stir up shit with this update but seriously, I do return comments, so I don't understand what's not happening here. I've been visiting some peoples' websites and seeing my website not even linked, which is always nice, I guess, especially when I linked you back about 3-4 months ago or more [sarcasm]. Simple as ~ if you don't wish to be affiliated/friends with me, then don't apply or let me know before you remove me. It's just stupid to remove me without notice of some sort.

New Visitor Content So since I've already closed Kandie Kid, I've decided to add content to Phoenix Shadow... and I'll be updating the Visitor section as soon as this entry is complete There'll be AIM avatars, an MMCL mini clique, and I will be adding forum signatures/glitters later. And they're not shitty glitters like everyone else's, so don't even go there. IF by chance you would rather not be affies because I suddenly have visitor content/glitters, [and by the way, this is NOT a MYSPACE site just because I mentioned the word glitter...so frig off with that b.s.!], please, spare me your petty drama and remove yourself from my affiliate list ^_^

My Curse - Killswitch Engage 5:25 PM Exhausted!

Right, so referring to my title, Happy Holidays [part 2]... only because I'm awesome like that I made a gift for everyone, I hope you all like it and enjoy it ^_^ I'll post it on your blogs just in case you don't stop by on time to pick it up But yeah, I'm sure you guys will stop by. I'm actually thinking about closing Kandie-Kid.Net. I mean, I feel bad... Ali had bought it for me forever ago... and I've had it for like... 3? 4 years now? I don't even remember, *lol wtf, seriously!* and I don't know. I hate palace dolls. I hate most myspace things. I can't STAND making myspace LAYOUTS... for the love of God, please, no. I'm going to be slowwlyyyy moving different content
over from Kandie Kid to here. I'm just sick of it all. I hate the child-like web masters that think they're the shit because everyone uses everyone else's graphics. Like it's the awesome thing to do. Most of them are money-hungry-greedy little piss heads, honestly. I don't even care how offensive I am right now, it's upsetting to see these children redistributing other people's hard work... or even if it took the other person just 5 minutes to make a design, it's still not fair to the original owner. I mean, there are copyright laws out there... artists' rights... seriously people. Don't get me wrong, it's the owner's fault if their stuff isn't copy written to them and they get pissy because their stuff is stolen, but come on.

Especially that Jonathan kid... he goes around from Geoshitties, to Free Webs, to 110mb to even getting as far as hosted... stealing, copying...
he calls it "overly inspired". There's no such thing you dumb ass.

This wasn't supposed to turn into a rant, but whatever. I don't care anymore at this point. I think I might just keep Kandie Kid until next year... then rid myself of that bullshit.

I'm off to do some reading... my aunt bought me New Moon for Christmas!! ^_^ It's the second book in the Twilight saga.

Eyes On Fire - Blue Foundation 3:36 PM sleepy

Okay, so I made the title look as if I wasn't going to blog tomorrow before the holidays, but I am, I just couldn't think of a title at the moment.
But anyways, I had my last 2 finals this afternoon, I think they went exceptionally well, my communications class went OK, we presented our projects to the class in this group discussion sort of thing, which was a bitch, because first of all, our project was discouraged by the beast lady in the art building and second of all, if we had more time, we would have gotten more accomplished. It was nice though since we had a little bit of time to type out an outline, but I would have rather have gotten it done much sooner than 2 days before it. It's alright though, next time maybe. Gay. Also, we did our 2 minute drills right before we left for our next finals, and mine was on scrap booking because I'm just so in touch with my creative side. I honestly haven't scrap booked in about 2 years, completely getting into it, anyway. But I suggested it for the winter break time for people, and basically demanded them to do it My second final was just a self assessment, not even an exam, technically. It was super easy since it was just on ourselves and how we think of ourself.

R.I.P. Caylee Marie Anthony
The remains were found near the home of Caylee Marie Anthony... of a small child. A meter reader actually spotted a normal bag, until he kicked it and a child's skull fell out of it. For the next week or so, authorities in Orange County searched throughout the wooded area and gathered remains and what not. They performed tests on the remains, and found out the remains did, in fact, belong to poor little Caylee Anthony. I'm beyond disgusted, in fact, I'm at loss for words in this scenario. If someone is going to give up on being a parent, which is STUPID anyways, because if you're going to have a child and not raise, it, what the fuck is the point?! But if someone is going to just give up and not want to do the whole "parent thing" anymore, drop the kid off at a Safe Harbor type of place or something.... don't KILL your child!! Seriously... I am so sick of watching the news and every day seeing an adult commit murder upon their own blood and family. It's sickening!! Shame on Casey, if she did commit the murder... and if she didn't kill Caylee, she absolutely had something to do with it. I knew she was guilty... I knew it all along. Props to Nancy Grace for being an amazingly strong woman to cover the case and everything. I love her.

Snowstorm Plz.
So we got a major friggen snow storm type of thing on Friday afternoon. It wasn't fun... at all. I was stuck inside for a good majority of the weekend. I hate New England and all the crazy and confusing weather it brings us up Nahhhth xD We ended up getting 6-12 inches of snow over night... and about 1 more inch afterwards. It rained, then it somewhat froze over on the roads. Thank God for sand trucks, that's all I can say in all my dorkiness glory.
I hate snow. I hate slush. If I get it thrown at me, I get pissed off, and it's on like Donkey Kong

I have gifts for everyone that I'll be handing out tomorrow. Yeah, like Santy Pants himself. Only I'm not fat and old with a beard. But I can act like it via tagboards Lawl. Frightening, no?

So besides me being obsessed with Twilight... though that's not even the beginning to what the correct word really is... I don't even know the correct word, haha Seriously, it's an awesome movie, like I mentioned before. I'm actually making some AIM icons and possibly MSN/YIM icons as well... with like love quotes, twilight quotes (duh! xD) and what not. Those should be up either Thursday or Friday.

I'm still not finished with my PowerPoint presentation. For one, because it kept freezing on EVERY computer that I tried to make it on and for two, when I was done saving it to my thumb drive (because I refuse to save it to my desktop, even at school, I'm paranoid for some odd reason @_@), it won't load. So what the fuck, I guess I'm fucked, once again.

I need new smilies.

I actually had to type this up in Wordpad before instead of typing it regularly in Cutenews like always. Because for some reason, this computer I'm on right now, every like 10 minutes or so it frigs up and won't let me type. The screen won't freeze or anything, it just won't let me type. And I'm not about to check out the plugs and wires, since I have a headache, again. @_@ I get head aches whenever I'm here at school, lol... it's such a common thing. I'll blame it on Ryan xD heh. Him and Sarah just like, totally left me here with nothing to do LOL It's alright though, I can at least blog and go to lunch afterwards. I wanted to play Gaia before I blogged, but that never happened.

Adam's always sitting right next to me too. I don't what the hell it is with me either, I never talk to him, but instead I IM him on Gaia or message him, rather than just speaking with him. I swear I'm such a dork sometimes... I do that to EVERYBODY!!!

I sent out all my Christmas cards to my friends, hopefully everyone got them! I know Ian and Don got theirs, also Bri ♥, but I don't know if anyone else got them... hopefully soon though, because I sent them like, all over the US xD haha. I have friends everywhere, it's awesome <3 I just made my family cards too, as well, I have to send the rest of them out tomorrow before I go over my Grandmother and Grandfather's house with Sara. But yeah, glad I got those out of the way, not to make that sound badddd, but they're a lot of work, man!

I'm working on totally revamping my photo album, and I'm still in the process of joining Fanlistings x3
